Beach Club and Sailing Holidays
We all like to relax on holiday but more often these days not everyone wants to lie on a beach all day every day. Holidays that give you a chance to indulge in your favourite hobby or to try out new activities are becoming increasingly popular.
Sailing holidays are more accessible than you may think. Don’t worry if you‘ve never set foot on a Yacht before we have tuition on our Beach Club Hotel Holidays on the basics of Sailing, staring with small dinghy sailing going right up to full blown holidays on the waves with Flotilla holidays that will guide you around beautiful blue seas and take you to hidden exotic coves and harbours that the main throng of holidaymakers will never see!
If you’ve never sailed before you could stay in a 3*, 4* of 5* hotel for half of your holiday and join a flotilla for the second half of your ‘stay and sail’ holiday.
There will be qualified instructors to give you tuition on the basics whilst you stay on land utilising the dinghy’s and yachts available on the beach. When you get out on the open seas you will know what you are doing – and don’t worry they will be on hand to show you the ropes when you’re in charge of your own yacht. Imagine swimming, snorkelling and discovering new little hidden beaches and harbours and enjoying the excitement that a good breeze will bring! There are many different combinations of sailing holidays to choose from we are sure to be able to find the perfect one for you.
Beach Club Holidays usually have something to offer the whole family, as the name suggest they are situated right next to the beach so if you prefer to relax on a lounger with a cool drink and a book then that’s fine. There will also often be spa and beauty treatments that you can book.
Beach club holidays are available in 3* hotels, 4* hotels and 5* hotels in holiday resorts in Turkey, Greece and Egypt.
If lying in the beach doing nothing is not your thing you can get as sporty as you want! There are many activities to choose from in resort and each resort will have a selection for you to choose from.
Snorkelling is always a pleasant pass time and if you want to take if further there may also be the opportunity to learn to Scuba Dive too. These are available in most resort including Porto Heli and Sivota in Greece and diving holidays in Dahab in Egypt amongst others.
For the sporty there’s Tennis and tennis tuition available in both Evia in Greece and Ortakent in Turkey, amongst others and there may also be fitness classes or a gym in some resorts.
Water based sports include Dinghy Sailing and tuition which is included in Ortakent and Teos in Turkey, Kilifi, in Kenya, and Lesvos, Halkidiki and Leminos in Greece as well as many other resorts. Windsurfing, waterskiing and wakeboarding as well as Kayaking, canoeing and try Dive may also be available.
To really get the adrenalin going why not try the guided mountain biking in Greece, Turkey Egypt and Kenya.
In many resort including Foca ion Turkey, Evia in Greece and Lesvos in Greece there are children’s clubs available. The children’s clubs are run from the age of 4 months up to 17 years of age so there’s a club for all ages. Depending on the age of the children the clubs will run full on activities all day, there's never a dull moment for them and with trained experts in childcare attending you know they will be in safe hands.
