On the north coast of Crete lies the buzzing holiday resort of Hersonissos. At approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes transfer journey away from Heraklion airport, this lively town is a great holiday destination for sun-worshippers and party-lovers alike.

Although Hersonissos nightlife is lively, the streets don’t become crowded with young, vivacious holidaymakers like in nearby Malia. You can enjoy sophisticated nights out in chic cocktail bars on the harbour front and then indulge in a spot of dancing in one of many bars and discos.
